Site updates

We’d like to welcome Javier Lozano as the newest rubydoes.net blogger. We’ve linked to his blog posts in the past, and are very excited to have him posting about IronRuby directly here.

I ditched Vanilla for a more traditional forum, Simple Machine’s forum. Vanilla was nice, but SM has quite a bit more functionality, and feels more natural, and I’d much rather switch before there’s any data conversion needs. Maybe one day that’ll be an issue  ;)

I’d like to try to swap out a new wordpress theme, something seems very heavy about this one even though it’s clean on the outside. Any suggestions would be great, in the meantime I’m trolling del.icio.us/tag/wordpress+theme

I’ve started a Facebook group for IronRuby here. It’s not nearly as active as the .Net Dynamic Languages group, but it’s a start.

Hopefully more to come, specifically in regards to content.

Forum up

July 27th, 2007 Aaron Junod Posted in Site No Comments »

I put a simple little forum up to see what kind of interest it might foster. I’ve only put one post in there so far, but hope to post a bit more tomorrow. To keep with the simplicity theme I figured I’d try vanilla, which seems pretty cool, but way simpler then I even anticipated. As always, input and comments are encouraged..
